This collection examines the fundamental threshold upon which all human experience rests. Between the first breath and the last lies an entire universe of longing, memory, attachment, and loss.Rather than depicting life and death as opposing forces, the collection views them as companions moving alongside one another. Each gives meaning to the other. Each reveals something about what it means to exist.
The work is not a depiction of what is seen, but what is felt in the absence of light.
